In the 2019 World University Linguistics Rankings, Zhejiang University ranked the top 150 in the world. The faculty of the college is strong and enjoys a good reputation throughout the country.?The School of Foreign Languages ??is composed of three departments: English Department, Language and Translation Department, and Asian-European Language Department. There are more than 20 foreign teachers in English, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, etc.
The school has established extensive exchanges and cooperation with universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, France, Japan, Russia, Canada, Denmark and Hong Kong. In 2017, the college has 20 exchange and cooperation projects with universities outside the country, including 7 joint training projects: 2+2 undergraduate joint training program at the University of Manchester, UK, University of Hawaii etc. It has signed a framework agreement with the University of Salamanca, Spain, the University of Salamanca, Spain, and the 13th Congress of Paris, France, and has reached preliminary cooperation intentions with the University of Iowa, the University of North Carolina, and the Eurasian Pacific University Alliance. Qualification: Zhejiang University ESL Jobs
1. A native speaker, speaking Chinese is a plus for this position
2. Experience in teaching college students in China
3. Candidates with a Master’s or PhD degree or with English language major are preferred
4. 25-50 years old, healthy
Responsibilities: Zhejiang University ESL Jobs
Your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
1. carrying out teaching assignments based on the needs of the university. Courses to teach: writing, speaking, listening and other language related courses
2. preparing course syllabus and teaching materials and sending them to the School of International Studies before each course starts,
3. program designing such as culture activities for students.
4. teaching other programs such as workshops or lectures for teachers’ professional development
5. four office hours every week
Work Load:
Your annual workload (one-year full time) is 480 classes, each of which is 45 minutes. You may need to work on weekends as required by the programs of the School of International Studies.
