Introduction to Shenyang Ligong University

Shenyang Ligong University (SLU, website) is founded in 1948. Its predecessor was Northeast Military Special School. It was upgraded to Shenyang Institute of Technology in 1960 and renamed Shenyang Ligong University in 2004 upon approval of the Ministry of Education. In 2010, Liaoning Provincial Government signed the agreement with China Ordnance Equipment Group and China Ordnance Industry Group to co-construct Shenyang Ligong University. It was approved as “the co-constructed university by National Defense Science and Technology Industry Bureau and Liaoning Provincial Government” with features of national defense in 2016.

Job description：

1. 14-16 classes per week
2. teach spoken English, English listening, British and American culture

Requirements:

1. Enthusiastic about teaching; Good health
2. Age under 65; Native English speaker ONLY
3. Have a degree of bachelor or above; have at least two-year English teaching experience; have certificate of teaching English to speaker of other languages (such as TESOL, TEFL, CELTA)

Staff Benefits：

1. Salary: 8,000 RMB per month, with fully paid summer and winter vacations
2. 2,200 RMB travel allowance for one-year contract
3. Up to 10,000 RMB flight reimbursement for round-trip air tickets
4. Free on-campus accommodation, or 2,000 RMB monthly housing allowance if teachers want to rent their own place
