Job Description

1. What are the classes like?
The classes are Conversation Classes or oral English speaking classes for both freshmen and sophomores. The students are 3-year Tourism English Majors. Some of them have a good command of English language. However, the majority of the students are weak in speaking English.

2. What is the format and what is expected of the teacher?
14 classes every week and every class is an 45-minute long class.You are supposed to teach students to carry out topics related to everyday life. You are expected to motivate students to get involved in class and speak Engli sh fluently by teaching them effective communicative skills.

3. Is the curriculum already set and prepared or do I have to create and find al l my own material?
We do have a course book for reference. It is a topic-centered audio-video listening and speaking course. You may select some parts of it for teaching. it’s not good to just rely on it.
