Since the reform and opening up, after more than 30 years of development, Huizhou has more than 3,600 foreign-funded enterprises, which are the main force in the development of Huizhou’s export-oriented economy.
Up to now, businessmen from more than 50 countries and regions including Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Europe and the United States have invested in Huizhou. Among them, 33 of the world’s top 500 companies have invested in 60 foreign-funded enterprises in Huizhou.
Especially in recent years, Huizhou has vigorously promoted the transformation and upgrading of foreign-funded enterprises, realizing the growth of high-tech, high-growth, and high-value-added enterprises. For example, large-scale backbone enterprises such as Samsung Electronics, Bourne Optics, Hitachi LG, and Guanghong Technology have improved the quality of the products of foreign-funded enterprises in the city and strengthened the core competitiveness of the industry.
